This work seeks to represent the fragility of the rose in a giant scale. Taking them out of proportion, they become powerful, strong and vital. Roses are a constant in the vast majority of Sonia’s work. They help her represent beauty in such delicate and vulnerable subjects, transforming them into enormous avalanches of colour.
