This piece is one of the artist’s favourite works. With this painting Sonia wanted to present the contrasts of living in conflict, within a jungle of giant flowers blown out of proportion. The artist projects an element that represents violence, combined with elements of love and fragility, to achieve a beautifully delicate work.

After producing this piece, the backgrounds in the artist’s paintings become increasingly important in her work. She starts to prefer to use intense colours that contrasts well with black and white.
